Stables & Meadow at The Black Bull

The Stables, once resting place for past transport, sticks with the rustic feel. All local stone walls and cobbles and beamed ceiling. The bar provides a full selection of drinks, continental & local beers on tap, extensive range of spirits and its own wine list with reds, whites, rosés, chilled reds & orange with everything in between including some fresh on tap. Everything you’d need for a summer evening or autumn by our log burner. 

The garden itself has extensive seating, some covered, some sun traps and we’re very lucky parts of the garden get the sun all day. We have an herb terrace and fruit trees growing throughout which we provide our inside kitchen. As keepers of bee’s, we encourage the wilding of corners of the garden to provide plenty of fodder for local bees. At the back of the garden, you’ll find two very mischievous pigs and our chickens.
