Enjoy a 3-night break from 31st December 2024 with a 7-Course New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu

Breaks start from £699, accommodating two adults in a Classic Room for three nights, breakfast included each day, along with our 7-Course Tasting Menu served New Year's Eve. 
 
Our New Year Celebration Tasting Menu, thoughtfully curated by our Head Chef Nina Matsunaga, showcases the finest seasonal British produce with a fusion of Japanese, German, and modern European culinary influences.

 

(Booking essential, subject to availability.  Classic, Superior and Suites are available. A deposit of £200 is required to secure your stay at the time of booking. Price above is for 3 nights from either the 29th, 30th or 31st December in a Classic Room.)

5-Course Fermented Food Tasting Evening

'Boost Your Immune System' A tantalising 5-course tasting menu with a focus on Fermented Foods. Fermented foods have been consumed around the world for thousands of years. From more familiar foods such as cheese, yoghurt and sourdough bread to more specialised ingredients such as kimchi and miso from Asia, sauerkraut and creme fraiche from Europe, shanklish and doogh from the Middle East, poi and atole agrio from the Americas, and garri and togwa from Africa to name a few. A carefully crafted menu, distinctly different, focusing on an aspect of cooking that Nina holds dear.

Tuesday 18th February

6-Course Tasting Menu by special guest chef Stosie Madi

The final collaboration dinner in the current series sees Nina step into the kitchen to collaborate with a very special guest chef Stosie Madi, chef and co-owner of The Parker's Arms, Newton in Bowland, Lancashire. 

Stosie is a whirlwind in the kitchen, whose passion and talent have transformed The Parker's Arms, a once quiet rural inn into one of the most well-known multi-award-winning gastropubs in the country. Her food is all about local sourcing and provenance, served intending to fill you up and offer a flavour experience like no other. Combine Stosie's talent with that of The Black Bull's Nina Matsunaga and you are in for one hell of a treat! 

This six-course tasting menu is priced at £65.00 per person. There will be two sittings with limited availability for each.

A matched drink pairing will also be available on the night.
